I am so glad you stopped by. Please take your time and become enveloped as I have in the wonderful world of glass both fused and lampwork. All of my fused work is designed, constructed and presented by me. My lampwork is just starting and be assured it is not quite ready for prime time! So for the time being any lampwork beads that I design into my jewelry has been handcrafted by a few hand picked artists.
I became involved in fused glass about 2 years ago. I have made jewelry for ever using metals, beads, found objects, cord and many other interesting things. One day I decided to take a class in the art of fusing and I was immediately hooked! I love how the glass changes as its fusing, then again after I cut and grind it and again after I have fire polished it. Many times what you started designing the piece as, is not how you end up finishing the piece as, because the glass takes on a life of its own especially in the cutting process. The piece will tell you what it wants to be.
